My Darkness A Poem

My Darkness Written in 2015

Hello darkness my new friend?
I welcome you with trepidation.
I seem to have possibly mistaken
You for one that is caring
Of whatever I am feeling.

You sit in silence
Or you offer whispers.
I cannot tell what is on your face.
I suppose that is just in case
You might offer a harsh judgement.
Or even offer an agreement.

Deep within myself
I recognize a kinship
Darkness in my soul,
It can indeed take hold.

Regrets of thoughts
Brought about by various stuff
That just cannot be tossed
But need to be worked out
Or cut out like a cancer,
Or treated gingerly
Like an infected ulcer.

If only the darkness
Had had that light
Once upon a time
Shed just right.
It might have made fewer shadows,
Fewer possible ghosts to haunt.

So darkness I am sorry I begrudge
Your very existence.
For you lack something
And your lack is mirrored at times in me.
An absence of light.

 The light - a poem..

Do you know the light..
The light of life itself..

If you've ever seen it..
You might know it..
If you see it again..

Of the seven chakra's
Six are held within..
That seventh though
Is in a higher place..

Such a bright light
This seventh chakra shines..
Such a pure white..
Maybe a touch of violet or blue..
Or more golden in color..
So soothing and warm..

It is higher conciseness..
It is life itself..
Shining to bright and true..
To see it though
You must close your eyes..

Like the reflection of a diamond..
Streaks of light radiate out..
Pulsating from this near perfect bright sphere..
And there little sparkles within..
All going on..
Right above your head...

So bright and so powerful..
So clean..
And so pure..

To let this light shine in..
Right into your very being..
It starts at the top..
Filling each spot..
Bathing all..
In it's warming pure light..

For as long as it takes..
Let it fill and warm..
Every dark place..

 Every day..
Twenty minutes at least..

Be in a quiet space..
Close your eyes..
Shut the world out..

Just you..
And this bright pure light..

And don't stop..
Till every dark place Is filled..
With this beautiful warming pure light..
And it's coming out your toes!

 It doesn't have to be twenty minutes at once. Just twenty minutes per day.. It can be 10 minutes twice a day, or 5 and 15.
