an ethical dilemma Ethics Test This test only has question, but it's a very important . By giving an hst answer, you will diover where you stand morally. No else will know, so you won't be fooling any but yourself if you give anything but a truthful answer. The test features an unlikely,completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision. Remember, your answer needs to be hst, yet spontaneous. Please read slowly and thoughtfully, giving due consideration to each line. Here's the situation: You're in Florida; Miami to be specific. There's chaos all around you caused by a tsunami with severe flooding. This is a flood of Biblical proportions. You're a photojournalist working for a major newspaper, & caught in the middle of this epic disaster. The situation is nearly hopeless. You're trying to shoot career-making photos. There are houses and people swirling around you, some are disappearing under the water. Nature is unleashing all of its destructive fury. Suddenly you see a man floundering in the water. He's fighting for his life, trying not to be taken down with the debris. You move closer ...somehow the man looks familiar. You suddenly realize who it is. It's Trump, President of the United States!! At the same time you notice that the raging waters are about to take him under...forever, you realize you have options. You can save the life of the President, or you can shoot a dramatic Pulitzer Prize winning photo, documenting the death of of the world's most powerful men. So here's the question, and please give an hst answer: the question is in the first comment.. You cannot conceive the many without the one. |

I would use black and white I think it captures it better...great questions hun. I thought for sure you were gonna ask would you save him.. Seduce the mind and see what a wonderful adventure the body will take you on..

I would use color. I can picture the scene. Water takes on the color of the sky. Everything is already shades of gray. Imagine how the orange would show in contrast...like the girl in the red coat in Schindler's List. Opportunity may knock only once, but temptation bangs on the door forever!

Heh.... I'll go with option C, toss him a cinderblock. Would you believe that this past weekend, in St. Augustine, during the shutdown, there was an actual Tea Party demonstration. Three old white guys dressed in colonial garb, carrying signs saying "Impeach Her." Seriously. I can't make that shit up. I'll sit back and wait for the comments and "disagree" votes now!

Humans are the most dangerous animals on earth. If only animals had the ability to know when to keep away from us humans they would be better off.

I would be very confused.  One line says "It's Trump, President of the United States!! " A couple lines down it says "You can save the life of G.W. Bush" But I'm just a simple photographer. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

OK, now my real answer. The consequences of what I do here are . . . UUUhge (sorry). Since a tsunami hitting Miami is, in part, probably due to the disastrous and immoral environmental policies of trump’s administration letting him go would be poetic justice. But that would create a highly likely worse problem – Pence as POTUS. While trump is a buffoon his incompetence is out in the open for all to see because he knows no better. He is possibly going to lead to the degradation of his party especially if he continues on the current course. And, many of his “actions” are being halted because they are as unconstitutional and ridiculous as he is. Yes, if I help trump we will be stuck with him for a while longer. But Pence is not as incompetent and knows how to play the political game. He knows how to cover his tracks and how to work the system. His actions could last a lot longer because of his “legitimacy” especially when compared to trump. Finally, there is a better potential for us to see a president sent to rot prison, where he belongs, if he is remains alive. When the going gets weird, the weird turn pro. The only thing we have to fear is fear itself.

Since there are no life rings mentioned, I would shoot the photos in black and white, then highlight the hair more orangish when publishing the photos! It would be a great contrast. I would make millions but give it all to the people to rebuild Miami! Is this the school answer?
