Group Success or Not
Alright folks, this will be a little rant with some other stuff thrown in.



As moderators of this group, it is difficult to plan events for you. For the most part it is because no one participates in them. It takes a fair amount of planning and sometimes expense to put on these Meet n Greets for you. Ideas are thrown out for you to vote or decide on, and in some cases RSVP's are made. While we know that life can get in the way some times, but simple phone call or email to say " Hey, we can't make, blah blah.." would go along way. At the last MnG, we gave 3 weeks notice to when it wold be held and where, we had 5 RSVP's, only one showed and one couple who are not part of this group. So, the BBQ was a rowzing failure.



You have work, we have work too and we plan around our schedules as much as we can to accommodate your needs. We have to take time out of our day to plan the next MnG, whether it means going out to various places to see if it will work for your group or not, planning meals, games, etc..



Bottom, line, this group will be a success or a failure, and you are the only ones who will determine which one it will be.



To make this group a Success:
You will need to participate in group activities. There are many people in this group who always want to know when the next meet and greet is, but never show up. You want to meet new or old friends, make plans to attend a MnG. It's a safe environment - no pressure. Worst case scenario, someone you know from where ever sees you at the meeting. Big friggin deal, no one knows that the group is except us. Just a bunch of friends meeting for whatever at that time.



To make the group Fail:
Continue how things are going now. Come here, read a post or two, make a comment, and don't show at any function.



Final thoughts:
It is now up to you to decide if you want anymore MnG's. You will need to post in here what and why you want a MnG. Not looking for any apologies, choices were made and that's that. But, you will decide the future of this group.


State your desires now or forever hold your peace.

 I have agree MuffDiver, I did enjoy meeting you, and had a tasty burger. It would be nice to have a few more people show up though.
We shall see.
